In1Go needs to gather and use certain information about individuals and organizations. These can include customers, suppliers, business contacts, employees and other people that In1Go has a relationship with or may need to contact.

Definition of Terms

  • “Data Subject” – refers to an individual whose personal, sensitive personal or privileged information is processed by the organization. It may refer to officers, employees, consultants, and clients of this organization.
  • “Personal Information” – refers to any information whether recorded in a material form or not, from which the identity of an individual is apparent or can be reasonably and directly ascertained by the entity holding the information, or when put together with other information would directly and certainly identify an individual.
  • “Processing” refers to any operation or any set of operations performed upon personal information including, but not limited to, the collection, recording, organization, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, blocking, erasure or destruction of data.
  • “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to In1go.

Scope

This policy refers to all parties (employees, customers, suppliers, etc.) who provide any amount of information to us. Employees and In1Go and its subsidiaries must follow this policy. Contractors, consultants, partners and any other external entity are also covered by this policy. Generally, this policy refers to anyone who collaborates with us or acts on our behalf and may need occasional access to data.

Personal information we collect

We collect information that you give us, when you contact us, visit our sites, use our applications or services, or view our advertisements. We also receive information from other sources, including providers, and partners received your consent to share your information. We also procure information from publicly available resources.

We may collect information that is not limited to the following:

  • Personal information is any information from which the identity of an individual can be reasonably and directly ascertained, or when put together with other information would directly and certainly identify an individual, such as name, date of birth, gender, address, email address, telephone/mobile number, proof of identification, etc.
  • Non Personal information is any information that does not identify the person individually, which may include statistical or analytical data, anonymous or aggregated reports.

How We Collect Your Information

We collect your personal information using many ways. Some of the information we collect from you may be used to identify you (Personally Identifiable Information). This information includes your full name, address, age, email address, phone/mobile number, etc.

Here are the ways we collect your information:

  • Information you give us.When you sign up to our website or apps, or by calling, or emailing us, you give us your information.
  • Automatic collection.We may use technologies that can automatically collect information when you visit our websites, view our advertisements, or use our products or services (cookies, etc). When using our technologies, you give us the consent to collect this information. This can include your browsing data, phone’s operating system, device ID, and how you use the app or device, and your location (for geological data).
  • Publicly available resources. We may collect your personal information that is publicly available. This may include social media, forums, blog entries, videos, news, etc.This can give us information on how we can improve our products and services, and to give you the best possible user experience.
  • From other resources.We may get your personal information from other companies or resources. This information can be sold or shared with us with your consent. We may get information that other companies share with or sell to us. For example, you may have give consent for another company to share your personal information and experiences with us when you sign up for their products and services.

Retention of Personal Information

We may keep your personal information to enable your continued use of our products and services, for as long as it is required in order to fulfill the relevant purposes described in this Privacy Statement, as may be required by law (including for tax and accounting purposes), or as otherwise communicated to you. How long we retain specific personal information varies depending on the purpose for its use, and we will delete your personal information in accordance with applicable law.

How We Safeguard Your Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. We don’t want to have your personal information to be lost, misused, or altered without your consent. We have created measures like policies and procedures to protect your personal information. Parts of these policies are the following:

Our data will be:

  • Accurate and kept up-to-date.
  • Collected fairly and for lawful purposes only.
  • Processed by the company within its legal and moral boundaries.
  • Protected against any unauthorized or illegal access by internal or external parties.

Our data will not be:

  • Communicated informally.
  • Stored for more than a specified amount of time.
  • Transferred to organizations, states or countries that do not have adequate data protection policies.
  • Distributed to any party other than the ones agreed upon by the data owners (exempting legitimate requests from law enforcement agencies).

Data Storage

  • When not required, the paper or files should be kept in a locked drawer or filing cabinet.
  • Employees should make sure paper and printouts are not left where unauthorized people could see them, like on a printer.
  • Data printouts should be shredded and disposed of securely when no longer required.
  • When data is stored electronically, it must be protected from unauthorized access, accidental deletion and malicious hacking attempts.
  • Data should be protected by strong passwords that are changed regularly and never shared between employees.
  • If data is stored on removable media (like a CD, DVD, USB, or external drives), these should be kept locked away securely when not being used.
  • Servers containing personal data should be sited in a secure location, away from general office space.
  • Data should be backed up frequently. Those backups should be tested regularly, in line with the company’s standard backup procedures.
  • All servers and computers containing data should be protected by approved security software and a firewall.

Data Security

  • Restrict and monitor access to sensitive data.
  • Develop transparent data collection procedure.
  • Train employees in online privacy and security measures.
  • Build secure networks to protect online data from cyber attacks.
  • Establish clear procedures for reporting privacy breaches or data misuse.
  • Include contract clauses or communicate statements on how we handle data.
  • Establish data protection practices (document shredding, secure locks, data encryption, regular backups, access authorization, etc.)

Data Use

  • When working with personal data, employees should ensure the screens of their computers are always locked when left unattended.
  • Personal data should not be shared informally. In particular, it should never be sent by email, as this form of communication is not secure.
  • Data must be encrypted before being transferred electronically. The IT Manager can explain how to send data to authorized external contacts.
  • Employees should not save copies of personal data to their own computers.

What We Share

With our company partners. We may share your personal information amongst our partners.

With service providers. We may subscribe or purchase services from other companies and individuals. We may share your information with these providers to help us run our business, including hosting our sites, and delivering our emails.

Protection of Us and Others. To help us protect our rights or property, e.g., fraud prevention or information security, and when required by law or government authorities.

Other Situations. As we continue to grow our business, we might sell or buy business or services. In such transactions, personal information is one of the transferred business assets. However, the pre-existing Privacy Statement remains.

Your Rights and Choices In certain circumstances, local data protection laws (such as the Data Protection Act of 2012) may give you rights with respect to personal information if you are located in or are a resident of that country, state, or territory.

What rights may be available to me?
These rights differ based upon local data protection laws in your country, state, or territory, but these rights may include one or more of the following:
  •  You may have the right to access your personal information that we process, and have the right to obtain confirmation that we process it.
  • You may have the right to object inaccurate personal information concerning you, and depending on the purposes, you may have the right to correct or complete the incomplete information.
  • You may have the right to require us to delete partial or all of the personal information concerning you.
  • You may have the right to require us to restrict the further processing your personal information.
  • You may have the right to receive a copy of your personal information which you have provided to us, in any readable format.
  • You may have the right to share the personal information that you requested without our consent.
  • You may have the right to revoke the consent you have provided for us to process your information. You can always provide your consent to us again at a later time.
  • You may have the right to file a complaint to any applicable authorized regulator if you are not satisfied with our responses to your requests, or how we manage the personal information we collect from you. Note: These rights are not absolutely guaranteed and there are several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request. We are only required to honor rights to the extent that these rights have been granted to you and apply to you under applicable data laws. You may ask consultation from your local data protection officers to determine what rights may be available to you, and which exceptions may apply.

Cookies

Cookies are tiny bits of information websites store on a computer accesses it. Cookies only contain bits of text that can be user ID, session ID, or any other texts. Both websites and HTML emails may also contain other technologies used for tracking such as “web beacons” or “pixels.” These are usually small transparent images that provide us with data, for similar purposes as cookies.
We use cookies for a number of reasons, such as:
  • to serve you with relevant advertising.
  • to learn more about the way you interact with In1go’s content.
  • help us improve your experience when visiting our websites.
  • to remember your preferences, such as a language or a region, so there is no need for you to customize the website on each visit.
  • to identify errors and resolve them.
  • to analyze how well our websites are performing.

These are the types of cookies we use:

  • Session cookies. Session cookies are temporary cookies that memorize your online activities. Since websites have no sense of memory, without these cookies, your site browsing history would always be blank. In fact, with every click you would make, the website would treat you as a completely new visitor. With this, we don’t have to ask you to provide same information you’ve provided every time you access the website.
  • Persistent cookies (also known as first-party cookies) work by tracking your online preferences. When you visit a website for the first time, it is at its default setting. But if you personalize the site to fit your preferences, persistent cookies will remember and implement those preferences the next time you visit the site. For example, you visit a website in Chinese, and choose to translate the page in English. The next time you visit the website, it will be automatically translated.
  • Third-party cookies, also referred to as tracking cookies, collect data based on your online behavior. When you visit a website, third-party cookies collect various types of data that are then passed on or sold to advertisers by the website that created the cookie. Tracking your interests, location, age, and search trends, these cookies collect information so that marketers can provide you with custom advertisements. These are the ads that appear on websites you visit and display content relevant to your interests.

How you can control cookies. You may wish to restrict the use of cookies or prevent them from being set. Browsers allow you to change your cookie settings. However, it may prevent our services or websites from working properly.

Review and Effectivity

The provisions of this Manual are effective on September 29, 2020, until revoked or amended by this company, through an EXCOM Resolution. The review of this manual will be done annually, and the next review will be on September 29, 2021.
